Dinner is served.

Even though, I'm spending a quiet day alone, I thought I'd get down and dirty in the kitchen (something I like to save for when there's more than just me to cook for.)

I've been working my way through one of my many cookbooks. For the most part, I prefer for there to be some pictures in my cookbooks, but this one is different. I don't need the visual stimulation: the recipes are delicious and simple. That appeals to me.

This evening I made the Easy Zucchini, Tomato, and Cheese Tart from Vegetarian Classics.

I'd have to say it turned out pretty well.
